Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
Rides, Restaurants, Shops, Things to Do and Discounts at The Island -One of the most popular attractions in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area.
What is The Island in Pigeon Forge?
The Island is a popular Smoky Mountain attraction that is excellent for families and people of all ages. There is no charge to get in, and you can choose to spend as much as you'd like. If you are on a budget, I recommend it because there is a lot of free entertainment here.
There are fountains, that have shows at certain times, when the music plays as the fountain water dances to the beat. Free rocking chairs are everywhere, so you don't have to worry if you need a break.
There are plenty of public restrooms, and people watching is easy when you are surrounded by rides, activities, and food vendors.
It also has a beautiful river, ducks, tons of parking, and a trolley to bring you from parking if you don't want to walk.
Want to see fireworks? The Island puts on an excellent fireworks shows during holidays and also may have live music and entertainment as well.

LeConte Center is the neighbor to The Island and shares the huge parking lot.
Each year, it hosts tons of events in Pigeon Forge, and is the main site for indoor Car Shows that are so popular here. You may be familiar with the outdoor Rod Runs on the Parkway, but LeConte Center hosts indoor shows like The Spring Corvette Expo, Chevelle Showdown, Jeep Invasion and more each year. (see car show schedules)
They also host a huge variety of events like Yama Con Anime & Comic Convention, Monsters on the Mountain - 3 day Classic Rock Festival, Athletic Competitions, Bible Conferences and much more.

The location neighboring The Island is excellent for groups who stay together
and want to go to attractions close by.
Parking is between LeConte Center and The Island (see map above) but there is also
a 2nd huge parking area.
Recently LeConte Center has added extra parking across the street in front of Cal Ripken Ball Fields. There is even a pedestrian bridge to help make it easy for attendees to safely cross over the street. Parking entrance and electric car charging can be found at the corner of Jake Thomas Lane and Teaster Lane in Pigeon Forge.
