Trying to Decide Where to Eat?


There are a lot of great choices of where to eat in Gatlinburg, but I chose these for my own personal experience, atmosphere, variety, reviews and ratings!

1.) Split Rail Eats

"Modern Favorites with Southern Classics"

Hidden location in the Arts & Crafts Community. But don't let that stop you!

Serves lunch and dinner, coffee, dessert, kids' menu.


Also has a full bar, self-service beer wall, live entertainment, trivia nights, outdoor seating.




2.) DeLauder's BBQ

1895 East Parkway, Gatlinburg


Family-run, American Barbecue Joint on the Outskirts

of Gatlinburg

Small BBQ restaurant, an easy 10-minute drive from the downtown Gatlinburg strip.


Serves lunch and dinner, large portions of comfort food including great reviews of the beef brisket, fried mac 'n cheese and all in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.





3.) Boudicca's Celtic Pub

634 Parkway, Suite #7 (in The Village Shops), Gatlinburg


"Restaurant with beers and authentic foods from recipes of the Celtic Nations"

Celtic decor and music and authentic pub style bar. Dining is upstairs.


Serves lunch and dinner, mostly served in to go boxes so you may enjoy outdoors as well.

Fish n Chips, Burgers, Bangers n Mash and more.






4.) Chesapeake's Seafood & Raw Bar

437 Parkway, Gatlinburg


"Straight from the Sea to Your Table"

Downtown Gatlinburg with a heated patio and river view.


Serves lunch and dinner, kids' menu. Serves oysters, Maine lobster, swordfish, red snapper, scallops, steak and more.

Also has a full bar, private wine cellar, raw bar, and heated outdoor seating.





5.) LeConte Tapas & Grill

805 East Parkway, Gatlinburg


Vibrant European restaurant with Spanish tapas, chef inspired Mediterranean dishes, steak, seafood and dessert.

Downtown Gatlinburg with indoor and outdoor seating, live entertainment and free parking.


Serves lunch and dinner, kids' menu. Full bar including fine wines.

6.) Tennessee Jed's

631 Parkway, Gatlinburg


Craft Sandwich Shop & Cafe

Small downtown eatery in Gatlinburg with a large outdoor

dog-friendly patio.

Serves late breakfast, lunch and dinner, beer, live entertainment, kids' menu, desserts.


No deli meats, just fresh meat, slow cooked overnight and other fresh ingredients. Reubens, turkey bacon, pulled pork, breakfast sandwiches, Frito pie, salads and more. Vegetarian options available, and you can also buy meat by the pound.





7.) Alamo Steakhouse

705 East Parkway, Gatlinburg


Hand cut, aged steaks, grilled over an oak fire.

Just up the road from the Downtown Gatlinburg strip, with a beautiful atmosphere, and pretty creek and bridge out front! Full bar and outdoor seating. Special private seating for special occasions (Love Nest)


Also has chicken, chops and seafood.


Serves lunch and dinner, (see hours) kids' menu.





8.) The Peddler Steakhouse

820 River Road, Gatlinburg


Longtime favorite serving custom steaks and salad.

Right on the river, you can enjoy a custom cut steak.

Serves dinner, wine, dessert, has a bar overlooking the river, and a kids' menu.


Nice, warm atmosphere. This restaurant was once someone's home, many years ago.






9.) Smoky Mountain Brewery

1004 Parkway, Gatlinburg


Oldest Craft Brewery in East Tennessee

Serves lunch and dinner (open late)

Fresh, local microbrews, like Black Bear Ale, Cherokee Red, Appalachian Pale and more. Cocktails, wine and whiskey are also available.


This place is known for it's amazing pizza! But also has excellent wings, steak, chicken and burgers too in a fun atmosphere.

10.) Cherokee Grill

1002 Parkway, Gatlinburg


"Premier steakhouse, located in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, Cherokee Grill presents an upscale mountain lodge atmosphere."


Serves lunch and dinner.

Romantic, cozy atmosphere, close to the National Park entrance. Prime rib, burgers, chicken, salmon, steak add-ons and other favorites too. Kid's menu, desserts, wine and microbrews.


Casual, upscale restaurant with beautiful, authentic, Native American artifacts showcased in the decor.




BONUS! 11.) Mama's Chicken Kitchen

1244 East Parkway, Gatlinburg


"Delicious fried chicken and homemade sides"


Serves lunch and dinner. Casual and kid friendly.

White gravy, wings, salad, biscuits, dumplings, comfort food, large portions, famous strawberry jam and other favorites too.
