5.)  Westgate Resort & Spa
           915 Westgate Resorts Rd., Gatlinburg

Westgate Indoor Water Park Wild Bear Fal
Westgate Wild Bear Falls Waterpark in Gatlinburg

Westgate Resort is a special and familiar place to me, I used to work there shortly before the

tragic wildfires in 2016.

I absolutely loved it!  They lost a large percentage of the resort and have since rebuilt.  The Water park was not damaged.  Any reviews from prior to November 2016 may be about rooms that no longer exist.  Most are fresh and new, as are many of the resorts in Gatlinburg since the fires.

Westgate is a large, gated resort located on the "spur" between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This location makes it especially convenient for those who want to visit both places during their stay.  A large variety of rooms and cabins are available for almost any size group.

With kids in mind, some of the amenities you will love:

  • Connecting rooms available

  • Indoor and outdoor kid friendly pools with waterslides and the huge Wild Bear Falls Indoor Waterpark

  • Free parking onsite and access to onsite trollies as well as Gatlinburg trolley stop

  • Flying Bear Zipline (check seasonal dates)

  • Mini Golf

  • Onsite Restaurant, cafe, deli and grocery

  • Elevators

  • Like a small city behind the security managed gated, very secure

  • Pet friendly
