5.) Jeep Tour of the Smoky Mountains Foothills Parkway, 1 or 2 Days

Self Guided!  The rental office professionals can give you a map and some cool ideas, but its ultimately up to you!  During busy season, be sure to reserve about 2 weeks in advance.

 

Choose your jeep - Jeeps can seat 5 people comfortably in these 4 door jeeps. Then your hardest decision will be where to explore? Choose a dirt, gravel or paved road to wherever your heart desires!  (Some rules do apply)

6.) Appalachian Waterfalls Hike
by Smoky Mountain Guides

Set aside about 4 hours. Great beginning intro to the Great Smoky Mountains. See a quiet waterfall and hear about local history of the area.  Gentle hiking for those who don't want something too strenuous.  Water and snacks are provided.  See wildlife in action including bear, deer and wild turkeys.

8.) High Points Driving Tour

This 3-hour tour takes you to some of the highest points above 5,000 feet in the Great Smoky Mountains.  Hear stories of the Native Americans who lived in the area and other historical facts.  Arrive at the highest point in the park, Clingman's Dome and take a walk around or visit the gift shop.
