1.) Maddie Mae's Cafe & Creamery

Small gem tucked away in The Village on the Gatlinburg Strip, with friendly service!

This coffee and ice cream shop has Lattes, Cappuccinos, Espressos, Cuban Espresso, Espresso Macchiato, Red Eye & Americano. 

​

Café Au Lait, Café Breves, Chai Latte, Dirty Chai, Hot flavored Teas, Hot Chocolate, seasonal Spiced Ciders & Steamers.

​

For cooling off in summer they have Iced Lattes, Frappes, Espresso shakes, and Affogato.  They also have specialty sodas!

​

They also have 25 flavors to add to your coffees, including:

Butter Rum, Butterscotch, Toasted Marshmallow, Tiramisu, & Brown Sugar Cinnamon for example.

2.) Coffee & Company, ("Peace, Love & Coffee")

Coffee Shop and Roaster tucked into a little spot back in The Village Shops of Gatlinburg right off the Parkway.  Since they roast their own, it is always fresh!  You can even have it shipped.

​

All the favorites, hot or frozen.  Many milk choices, and great flavor options, like honey lavender, pistachio, toffee nut and marshmallow, and also some sugar free options.

​

They also offer sundaes, ice creams, scones, malts and more.  They sell other cute merchandise too.  The motto there is, "Peace Love & Coffee", ya gotta love it!

3.) Gatlinburg Grind Cafe & Bakery

Talk about unique- Just outside of downtown Gatlinburg, in the Arts & Crafts Community, this charming bakery serves fresh "pour-over" style coffee, with coffee beans from around the world.

​

Try their espresso, or find out what a hot chocolate bomb is, or ask if they have any white chocolate macadamia cookies filled with a pumpkin spice, and caramel scone cream.  Or how bout a Sharkbite Fizzer, a Toxic Tonic and some Italian Rainbow Cookies?  Or a made from scratch chicken pot pie or a Cliff Top Cold Brew?

The options here are endless.  Ask about gluten free items.  This place is on my to-do list!

4.) Painted Bear Coffee Company

This former herbalist is now a barista!

Just outside downtown Gatlinburg, you can find Yerba Mate, elderberry syrup kits and more with your locally roasted coffee and snacks like Bear Pops! Also, handmade treasures from the Arts & Crafts Community.

Try an Amaretto Steamer, a Sugar Cookie Frappe, Espresso, Caramel Apple Chai and more. Seasonal menu will surprise you.

5.) Green Eye Hemp Cafe

Just outside downtown Gatlinburg, near Glades Road, you will find this little unexpected coffee lover's gem.  It is not only a USDA certified organic hemp dispensary, but a café that serves local roast organic coffees.  Check out the grow room and Koi tank while you sip your beverage of choice.

​

Try the Honeybee Latte, an Herbal Coffee, or maybe one of the herbal teas like "Buck Up Buttercup".  You could also try a Golden Milk or a Cold Brew Latte.  Lots of good options to choose from with fresh baked items too.

​

On a hot day, you may want to try one of their iced coffees.

​

Dairy Free options available too. And don't forget your "I'm a Healer, not a Dealer" t-shirt!

1.) Dutch Bros.

Yes, it's a chain, but mainly known for being out West.  And being a drive thru. But they are wildly popular, and been around since 1992.  They are an immediate hit here now too. (By the way, in case you were wondering, it's pronounced "Dutch Brose", not "Dutch Brothers".)

​

They have tons of creative and new drinks, including seasonal drinks, energy drinks, and teas, hot or cold. And they always give back to the community.​​

2.) Smoky Mountain Espresso Coffee & Tea

Ohhh boy. 

The beautiful indoor/outdoor fireplaces and a drive-thru sets this coffee house apart.

Try a Smoky Mountain Mocha, Nitrous Infused Cold Brew, a Frozen Turtle Mocha, or a Smoothie for the kids.  Also seen here: Tropical Matcha Green Tea and Hot Chocolate Freeze, Peanut Butter Mocha,  Chocolate Covered Cherry Latte and Red Velvet Latte, just to name a few.

Milk options, Decaf and sugar free options. Ask about the "Pay if Forward Wall".

3.) The Tennessee Grind

This is one of the newer Coffee (& Tea) place on my list to join us in Sevier County!  

Looks like they have sandwiches and yummy pastries in addition to locally roasted coffee and espresso treats.

Gingerbread Latte, Dawn Patrol. Mocha Latte and Caramel Apple Latte are a few of the new coffee brewing at Tennessee Grind.  Looking forward to seeing more!

4.) Heavenly Roast, Wears Valley

Another newcomer to the Smoky Mountain Coffee Shop list, I'm excited to see this one in beautiful Wears Valley, right up the road from Pigeon Forge.  If you are a coffee lover and have never been to Wears Valley when you have visited, make this a reason to go!

​

Try a Red Eye, Black Eye or Dead Eye!  Or maybe a Chai Tea, Caramel Swirl Macchiato, Dark Horse Nitro, Blackberry, Buckcherry or Chocolate Mint Frappuccino, Skinny Latte, Chocolate Peanut Butter Frappe, or Breve Latte, just to name a few! 

 

All by the stacked stone fireplace with some of the best mountain view around.

5.) Espresso Yourself 3331 Old Mill Street, Pigeon Forge

Right in the popular Old Mill District, you can stop by this coffee shop when you visit the other beautiful stores in this area.  They have organic coffee and tea, smoothies, frappe's, bakery items, and gifts.

​

Signature drinks include: Peanut Butter Cup Latte, Caramel Apple Smoothie, Turtle Cheesecake Frappe, and Banana Cream Pie Frappe.

​

Beyond the traditional favorites, they have many more things on the menu like a Dirty Chai Latte, Elderflower Latte, Highlander Grog, Irish Cream, Lavender Vanilla and more.

Also several milk and gluten free options!

6.) Coffee Armory (at The Mountain Mile)

If you haven't been the The Tower Shops at The Mountain Mile, you must go. And here is a great excuse!

Here they serve Veteran owned Black Rifle Coffee, and you can also take a delicious bag home with you.  

​

This Veteran themed coffee shop has drinks like Salted Caramel Frappe, White Mocha Frappuccino, Lavender and Honey flavors, Combat Cocoa, White Chocolate Mocha and more.
